Don't miss this special live episode of The Shaun Tabatt Show with my good friend Ana Werner. We talk about our recent time together at Sid Roth's It's Supernatural and dig into some of my favorite chapters from her new book Seeing Behind the Veil: 100 Invitations to Intimate Encounters with the Holy Spirit. The interview wraps up with a special time of prayer and activation.

About the Book:  Every day is a fresh invitation to step behind the veil and encounter the Holy Spirit in a new way!

In this unique supernatural experience, seer, prophet, and missionary, Ana Werner shares insights she has received through prophetic encounters, angelic visitations, and supernatural visions.

These inspirational entries—drawn from Ana’s personal history of encounters with God—are words from Heaven that are sure to infuse every day with hope, encouragement, healing, and assurance of God’s nearness.

Including both Scripture passages and prophetic words, these devotionals offer powerful insights on:

  • Dwelling in God’s Presence: living with a consistent awareness of the Holy Spirit’s nearness.
  • Spiritual warfare: how winning spiritual battles can impact your everyday life.
  • Amplifying God’s voice: positioning yourself to hear God’s words just for you.
  • Comfort, strength, courage, and faith: anchors of hope for the daily challenges you face.
  • Angelic activity: how to partner with the Heavenly hosts to release God’s plans for your life.

Gain new strength by encountering the supernatural presence of God, every day!

About the Author: Ana Werner and her husband Sam, are the Associate Directors of the Heartland Healing Rooms in Lees Summit, Missouri, and also founders of Acacia Ministries International. The bestselling author of The Seer's Path, Ana travels and equips people internationally on seeing in the Spirit, moving in the prophetic, and healing ministry. Her transparency as she shares on the realities and experiences she has in heaven, bring the Holy Spirit, the love of the Father and the power of God into the room when she speaks. Ana is passionate about leading people into encountering Jesus’ heart.

Acclaimed religion and culture writer Jonathan Merritt joins me on this episode to explore the reasons sacred language is declining and talk about why it's high time we breathe new life into our spiritual conversations.

About the Book:  As America rapidly becomes a pluralistic, postmodern society, many of us struggle to talk about faith. We can no longer assume our friends understand words such as grace or gospel. Others, like lost and sin, have become so negative they are nearly conversation-enders.

Jonathan Merritt knows this frustration well. After Jonathan moved from the Bible Belt to New York City, he discovered that whenever conversations turned to spirituality, the words he'd used for decades didn't connect with listeners anymore. In a search for answers and understanding, Jonathan uncovered a spiritual crisis affecting tens of millions.

In this groundbreaking book, one of America's premier religion writers revives ancient expressions through cultural commentary, vulnerable personal narratives, and surprising biblical insights. Both provocative and liberating, Learning to Speak God from Scratch will breathe new life into your spiritual conversations and lure you into the embrace of the God who inhabits them.

About the Author:  Jonathan Merritt is one of America's most prolific religion and culture writers. An award-winning contributor for The Atlantic, he has published thousands of articles in outlets such as USA Today, Buzzfeed, The New York Times, and The Washington Post. As a sought-after commentator, Jonathan has appeared on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, ABC News, and NPR. He holds two graduate degrees in religion and resides in Brooklyn, NY.

Blake Healy has been seeing angels and demons for as long as he can remember. On today's broadcast he pulls back the veil to show us what it's like to see in the unseen realm and shares why he believes this is a gift available to all Christians.

About the Book:  For as long as he can remember, Blake K. Healy has seen angels and demons. He sees them as clearly as he would see you if you were standing right in front of him. He sees angels dancing in worship services and whispering words of encouragement in people’s ears. He also sees demons latching on to people and perpetuating addiction and bitterness in their hearts.

The Veil chronicles how Blake matured in this gifting, while overcoming the fear and confusion of what he saw, how he learned to use his gift of seeing for God’s glory, and how to teach others to do the same.

This new and updated version of The Veil also includes a brief guide on how to begin growing in the gift of seeing in the spirit yourself, as well as an appendix of scriptural references to the spirit realm and angels, along with Blake’s commentary on these passages.

About the Author:  Blake Healy has been able to see both angels and demons from a very young age. Though this gift has had its ups and downs, the message that Blake carries through it is one of love and intimacy. He has made it his goal to invite people into a greater understanding of God's goodness.

Blake has been involved in the prophetic ministry for over fifteen years. He attended three years at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry and now teaches at the Bethel Atlanta School of Supernatural Ministry

I can't wait for all of you to listen to my powerful conversation with mindfulness expert and Stanford Graduate School of Business Professor Leah Weiss! We talk about her affinity for making infant leg warmers, how she got interested in mindfulness practices at a very young age, and why a lack of self-awareness might be holding you back from the success you've been looking for at work and at home. You don't want to miss this one!

About the Book:  In today’s workplace, the traditional boundaries between "work" and "personal" are neither realistic nor relevant. From millennials seeking employment in the sharing economy to Gen Xers telecommuting to Baby Boomers creating a meaningful second act, the line that separates who we are from the work we do is blurrier than ever.

The truth is, we don’t show up for our jobs as a portion of ourselves—by necessity, we bring both our hearts and our minds to everything we do. In How We Work, mindfulness expert and creator of the perennially-waitlisted Stanford Business School course "Leading with Mindfulness and Compassion" Dr. Leah Weiss explains why this false dichotomy can be destructive to both our mental health and our professional success.

The bad news, says Weiss, is that nothing provides more opportunities for negative emotions—anxiety, anger, envy, fear, and paranoia, to name a few—than the dynamics of the workplace. But the good news is that these feelings matter. How we feel at and about work matters—to ourselves, to the quality of our work, and ultimately to the success of the organizations for which we work.

The path to productivity and success, says Weiss, is not to change jobs, to compartmentalize our feelings, or to create a false "professional" identity—but rather to listen to the wisdom our feelings offer. Using mindfulness techniques, we can learn how to attend to difficult feelings without becoming subsumed by them; we can develop an awareness of our bigger picture goals that orients us and allows us to see purpose in even the most menial tasks. In How We Work, Weiss offers a set of practical, evidence-based strategies for practicing mindfulness in the real world, showing readers not just how to survive another day, but how to use ancient wisdom traditions to sharpen their abilities, enhance their leadership and interpersonal skills, and improve their satisfaction.

About the Author:  Leah Weiss, PhD, is a researcher, professor, consultant, and author. She teaches courses on compassionate leadership at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and is principal teacher and founding faculty for Stanford’s Compassion Cultivation Program, conceived by the Dalai Lama. She also directs Compassion Education and Scholarship at HopeLab, an Omidyar Group research and development nonprofit focused on resilience. She lives in Palo Alto, California with her husband and three children.

In this episode I sit down with Kentucky County Clerk Kim Davis to talk about the ways her personal faith journey and convictions influenced her decision to defend traditional marriage and religious freedom.

About the Book:  This true story goes behind the scenes to reveal how God gave this unlikely candidate a platform to defend marriage and religious freedom.

In this amazing narrative of redemption and courage, Davis details her personal experience from the moment former Governor Beshear ordered the state’s county clerks to issue same-sex marriage licenses, throughout her arrest and release from jail.

Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee “It’s a great read. But more than that, this remarkable story of what God did in Kim’s life gives me hope for our nation.”

Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin said, “When history called upon Kim, she was both ready and willing to respond. Will the same be said of you?”

Copies of Kim's book are available through the Liberty Counsel.

So excited to bring Kyle Mann on for this episode of The Shaun Tabatt Show! We discuss this history of The Babylon Bee and explore how a couple of guys running a Christian satire website end up getting a book deal with a major Christian publisher.

About the Book: Written in the trademark style of The Babylon Bee, this book humorously satirizes cultural Christianity while peppering in subtle challenges to the reader. Through humor and sarcasm (and a handy meter to rank your "holiness" as you progress through the book), readers will be called to find a more biblical understanding of the Christian faith, all while poking fun at the quirks of the modern, American Christian community.
