J. Warner Wallace returns to The Shaun Tabatt Show to share about his latest apologetics resource for kids: God's Crime Scene for Kids: Investigate Creation with a Real Detective (David C. Cook, 2017).

About the Book: In this companion to Cold-Case Christianity for Kids, Jason uncovers a mystery in his grandmother’s attic. He and his friends, Hannah, Daniel and Jasmine, enlist the help of Detective Jeffries at the Jr. Detective’s Academy. Along the way, they develop the skills needed to investigate the mystery and the evidence of God’s existence. The cadets learn logical-thinking skills as they examine the contents of a mysterious box and the vast universe.

In God’s Crime Scene for Kids, real-life detective J. Warner Wallace shows kids ages 8 to 12 what skills are needed to solve Jason’s mystery, and at the same time looks at evidence in the universe that demonstrates God is the creator. Ultimately, kids will learn how to make their own case for God’s existence.

About the Author:  J. Warner Wallace is a cold-case homicide detective, a missions leader, a church planter, and author of Cold-Case Christianity. As a result of his work with cold cases, Wallace has been featured on numerous television programs including Dateline, FOX News, and Court TV. Wallace’s visual presentations in the courtroom have revolutionized how capital offense trials are presented in Los Angeles County and across the country. A vocal atheist for many years, Wallace is now an apologist for Christianity with a master’s degree in theology and the founder of the Please Convince Me blog and podcast. He and his wife, Susie, have four children and live in southern California.

Has the church fallen asleep at the wheel? I'm excited to welcome Carmen LaBerge to the podcast to talk about why it's time for Christians to re-engage in the culture and address the problems of our day by boldly—and lovingly—bringing God back into every conversation.

About the Book:  Animosity, confrontation, confusion—from cable news right down to our kids' classrooms, Christians are waking up to a world very different from the one we once knew. We are quick to blame everyone else from Hollywood to Washington, but it is not the culture's fault God is sidelined.

If God is missing from the conversation, then it is because His people have failed to represent Him there. Christians have been far too silent for far too long, retreating out of fear of offending someone or the unpleasantness of stepping outside our comfort zone. When Christians have spoken up, too often it has not been in ways that honor Jesus. We have inserted our own opinion, obscuring the beauty and truth of the Gospel in favor of our political, ideological, or personal agenda.

It's time for us to embrace our calling as Christ's ambassadors. To do that, we must be equipped to engage the world in ways that bring the mind of Christ to bear on the matters of the day.

Carmen LaBerge's Speak the Truth seeks to give believers the confidence to speak the truth and the tools to re-engage in the culture and address the problems we are facing today by boldly—and lovingly—bringing God back into every conversation

About the Author:  Carmen LaBerge is a writer, speaker and host of the daily Christian talk radio show The Reconnect as well as the President of the Presbyterian Lay Committee (PLC), a ministry that’s been working to equip Christians for faithful witness for more than 50 years. Before becoming president of the PLC, she served in mainline Christian ministry for 17 years. Carmen is the founding Chairman of Common Ground Christian Network and a member of the board of directors of the National Association of Evangelicals. She also participates actively on the Mission America Coalition, the National Religious Broadcasters and the Christian Leadership Alliance. She lives outside of Nashville, TN with her husband Jim and family.

Dr. Peter Williams visits The Shaun Tabatt Show to discuss The Greek New Testament, Produced at Tyndale House, Cambridge.

About the Book:  The Greek New Testament is priceless in its value as it is how God has given us his revelation of the gospel and of Jesus Christ. While a few trusted Greek texts are in print, significant advances have been made in Greek translation studies of the New Testament since a standard text was adopted by academics in 1975. The Greek New Testament, Produced at Tyndale House, Cambridge has been created under the oversight of editors Dr. Dirk Jongkind (St. Edmund's College, University of Cambridge) and Dr. Peter Williams (Tyndale House, Cambridge). Together with their team, they have taken a rigorously philological approach to reevaluating the standard text—reexamining spelling and paragraph decisions as well as allowing more recent discoveries related to scribal habits to inform editorial decisions. Ideal for students, scholars, and pastors alike, and published to coincide with the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, The Greek New Testament, Produced at Tyndale House, Cambridge is a groundbreaking contribution to biblical scholarship.

About the Editor:  Peter J. Williams (PhD, University of Cambridge) is the principal of Tyndale House and the consulting editor and coordinator of this project. He is also chair of the International Greek New Testament Project, which is producing the largest scholarly edition ever attempted of a single book of the New Testament, namely the Editio Critica Maior of John's Gospel. He is the author of Early Syriac Translation Technique and the Textual Criticism of the Greek Gospels.

Todd Agnew stops by The Shaun Tabatt Show to talk about his journey into music and tell the story behind his new album From Grace to Glory.

About the Album:  Chart-topping seven-time Dove Award-nominated singer/songwriter and worship leader Todd Agnew recently released his latest project, a 16-track collection of new songs, as well as unreleased, remixed, and favorite tracks from the vault.

Serving as a scrapbook of sorts, From Grace to Glory is a musical chronicle of Agnew's journey of faith and ministry. It is a time capsule of moments, both profoundly intimate and exuberantly bold, that captures the essence of walking out the gospel hand-in-hand with friends and family, through good times and hard times. It is the journal of one man's transformation from a young singer/songwriter to troubadour theologian.
