Whoever you are, whatever your financial situation, serial entrepreneur and CEO Matt Manero is here to give you a wake-up call to the reality that if you want to walk in freedom and experience the life of your dreams, it's going to take real money.

About the Book:  Twenty-five years ago, I set off on my own with nothing but a folding table and a phone. For years, real success eluded me. I told people I was doing well when I was often on the edge of being broke.

Millions of people face the same plight--including my beloved brother-in-law, who died tragically before he could fix his money problems. That was MY wake-up call. I knew I needed more money, but I didn't know how to get it. I only turned things around by getting honest with myself, taking responsibility for my situation, and figuring out some practical solutions. Now I'm going to show you how to do the same.

In polite society, we don't like to talk about money. But it's too important to tiptoe around. In these pages, you and I are going to cut the BS and get real. For starters, I'll help you understand . . .

  • How the money has moved. Stop making decisions based on advice that worked decades ago, but no longer.
  • The dangers of living in a "False Positive." It's easy to tell ourselves that we have enough-- until we're hit with medical bills, aging parents, tuition, or early retirement.
  • The cheap comfort of the blamer mind-set: It might feel good to blame the government, the economy, or your boss for your troubles, but it won't change anything. Do you want an excuse, or do you want more money?
  • The power of "Lifestyle by Design." Visualize your long-term goal and work backward to figure out how to get there.
  • The trade-offs of being an employer or employee. You can get rich by starting a business or by rising to the top of an existing organization.

Let's figure out what's right for you. It's going to take grit and guts, but if you follow my road map, you'll start accumulating real wealth, the kind that lets you live the life of your dreams and lasts for generations to come.

About the Author:  Matt Manero is a serial entrepreneur and the CEO of four companies, including Commercial Fleet Financing, which made the Inc. 500 list of America's fastest-growing companies two years in a row. He hosts a syndicated radio show and podcast on the Lifestyle Talk Radio Network and speaks to audiences around the country. He lives with his wife and three sons in Dallas.

It's an honor to welcome my friend Warren Marcus to The Shaun Tabatt Show to share about his new book The Priestly Prayer of the Blessing: The Ancient Secret of the Only Prayer in the Bible Written by God Himself (Charisma House, 2018).

About the book:  In 1979 at an archaeological site southwest of the Old City of Jerusalem, opposite the Temple Mount (adjacent to St. Andrew’s Church, now on the grounds of the Menachem Begin Heritage Center) Jewish archaeologist Gabriel Barkay discovered two tiny silver scrolls, inscribed in the Ancient Paleo Hebrew with portions of the well-known “Priestly Blessing” from the Book of Numbers. These amulets were found in a burial chamber and was most likely worn around the neck of the High Priest of Israel.

The delicate process of unrolling the scrolls while developing a method that would prevent them from disintegrating took three years. They contain what is the oldest surviving texts from the Hebrew Bible, dating from a time immediately prior to the destruction of Jerusalem by the Babylonians in 586/7 BCE. These are far older than the Dead Sea Scrolls.

Why is it that the One True God of Israel saw fit to see this particular “Ancient Prayer of the Priestly Blessing” to be preserved as the oldest evidence of Biblical Scripture? Could it be that this prayer, the only prayer written by YHWH Himself was not just to be proclaimed over the Children of Israel in Moses times or does YHWH want this prayer proclaimed over believers today?

Though the Priestly Prayer of the Blessing written in our Bibles remains a beautiful prayer, the full meaning as contained in the Ancient Hebrew has been translated into the Amplified Hebrew to English and the full power and impact of this prayer can be fully realized and experienced.

Learn more about the powerful meaning of this prayer and learn how to have it proclaimed over you in a way which will bring you everything you would ever need to walk in supernatural health, protection and the power and authority to fulfill your God-given destiny!

About the Author:  Warren Marcus is an Author, Filmmaker, TV Producer and Speaker and ordained Messianic Jewish Minister.

He has been used to produce inspirational TV Programs for Dr. Jerry Falwell’s “Liberty Broadcasting Network” and worked with The Inspiration Network in Charlotte, North Carolina. He has served as the Executive Producer of Sid Roth’s “It’s Supernatural” weekly TV program, paying special attention to the dramatic reenactments that help bring to life the testimonies of real people’s encounters with the supernatural of God.

Earlier in the week I invited my daughter Amelia to be my guest host for our talk with Jon Erwin about his new film I Can Only Imagine. Head to your local theatre this weekend and show your support.

About the Film:  It’s the song that brings ultimate hope to so many … often in the midst of life’s most challenging moments. Amazingly, the song was written in mere minutes by MercyMe lead singer Bart Millard. In reality, those lyrics took a lifetime to craft.

Although he found faith at a young age, life wasn’t easy for Bart. He leaned into an active imagination and his love of music as escapes from a troubled home life. As he grew older, Bart turned to football in hopes of somehow connecting with his abusive father. But a career-ending injury—combined with the vision of a teacher who saw unlimited potential—set Bart on a musical pathway.

Chasing a dream while running from broken relationships with his father and Shannon, his childhood sweetheart, Bart hits the road in an old, decrepit tour bus with his new band MercyMe—named for his grandmother’s favorite expression. With the guidance of a grizzled music-industry insider, the band begins a journey none of them could ever have imagined.

Directed by the Erwin Brothers (October Baby, Moms' Night Out, and Woodlawn), I CAN ONLY IMAGINE stars J. Michael Finley, Madeline Carroll, Trace Adkins, Priscilla Shirer, with Cloris Leachman and Dennis Quaid.

A gripping reminder of the power of forgiveness, I CAN ONLY IMAGINE beautifully illustrates that no one is ever too far from God’s love—or from an eternal home in Heaven.

About the Erwin Brothers: JON and ANDY ERWIN are a directing team that focuses on creating faith-based and inspirational feature films. The duo began their career as teenagers, working as camera operators for ESPN in their hometown of Birmingham, AL. They soon embarked on full time careers as sports cameramen covering University of Alabama games all over the country. The brothers had the opportunity to work with ESPN College Football Primetime, FOX NFL, and the NBA covering events like the XGames and the Superbowl.

In 2002, the Erwin Brothers started their own production company. They ventured into creating commercials, documentaries and music videos. They found their greatest success in the world of music. Soon they were directing music videos and producing concerts and television programs for platinum artists like Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, Casting Crowns, Switchfoot, Skillet, and others. The brothers received 11 nominations and were honored with wins for Music Video of the Year at the GMA Dove Awards for three consecutive years.

In 2010 the Erwin Brothers shifted their focus and began exclusively developing dramatic feature films including OCTOBER BABY, MOMS’ NIGHT OUT, and WOODLAWN. I CAN ONLY IMAGINE is the brothers’ fourth feature film, and is based on MercyMe’s #1 hit song of the same title.

I had the pleasure of spending time with Todd Nettlleton at NRB 2018 in Nashville. During our conversation, Todd shares about his 20 years of work at The Voice of the Martyrs, a new book titled Wurmbrand: Tortured for Christ – The Complete Story (David C. Cook, 2018), and Tortured for Christ - The Movie.

About the Book:  This biography explores the inspiring lives of Richard and Sabina Wurmbrand, telling the complete story in one volume for the first time!

On February 29, 1948, Richard Wurmbrand was arrested by the secret police. His crimes? Leading Christian worship and witnessing—both of which were illegal under the atheistic Communist regime of Romania. He also spoke up for Christ at a gathering of party officials and religious leaders. Because of his faithfulness to Christ, he endured 14 years of prison and torture. His wife, Sabina, suffered two years of forced labor. They emerged not with melancholy or a bitter spirit but with a story of victorious faith.

Though Richard and Sabina endured intense persecution, they remained outspoken and bold about sharing their faith in the God who saved them.

About Todd Nettleton:  Todd is the Chief of Media Relations and Message Integration for The Voice of the Martyrs and the host of The Voice of the Martyrs Radio. Todd serves as a voice for persecuted Christians, working with the media to tell people in the United States about the faithfulness of Christ’s followers in 60+ nations where they face persecution.

The son of missionary parents, Todd spent part of his youth in Papua New Guinea and the rest in Southern California.

Todd and his wife, Charlotte, have two grown sons and recently welcomed their first daughter-in-law into the family. In his spare time, Todd enjoys reading, writing, music, travel and sports, including serving as commissioner of a fantasy football league. In 2015 he ran his first half-marathon.

I'm excited to share this conversation with my friend Sarah Bowling about her life-changing ministry Saving Moses, that gives hope and help to moms and babies in some of the darkest and poorest places on the planet.

About the Ministry:  In 2009, Sarah Bowling traveled to Ethiopia where she found two baby girls, Sarah and Ruth, abandoned in a field. She brought them to an orphanage, hoping to find a safe home for the babies.

The orphanage refused to care for the twin baby girls. Nobody would love and care for these babies. If Sarah hadn’t intervened, they would have been left for dead in the field.

Sarah found that many organizations and orphanages simply cannot afford to care for babies. This age group requires so many more resources and individualized attention than older children that most orphanages are forced to refuse care to babies.

And Saving Moses was born. We are passionate about saving the most helpless and vulnerable population: babies.

About Sarah:  Sarah Bowling is a Bible teacher, international speaker, author and pastor. She co-hosts a daily television program with her mom, the esteemed Marilyn Hickey, and founded the international nonprofit Saving Moses to provide resources for children in need. Sarah and her husband, Reece, co-pastor Encounter Church in Denver, where they live with their three children.

I got to spend some time one on one with Jonathan Cahn at NRB 2018 talking about his book The Paradigm: The Ancient Blueprint That Holds the Mystery of Our Times.

About the Book:  Is it possible that this ancient paradigm has determined and is determining not only the American presidency but also the timing of current events, in some cases even down to the exact dates?

Could a mystery from the ancient Middle East have foretold the course of current events more accurately than any poll or pundit?

Could the ancient paradigm have pinpointed the exact date of the 9/11 attacks before anyone had any idea? Could the paradigm have determined the exact years of Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Osama bin Laden, Donald Trump, and others?

And what does the ancient paradigm say about what is yet to come—our future? Could the paradigm even contain a warning critical for this hour and crucial for all to hear?

Be prepared to never see the world in the same way again. The Paradigm contains a revelation that will challenge your very understanding of the issues we face today.

About the Author:  Jonathan Cahn’s earth-shattering books The Harbinger and The Mystery of the Shemitah became New York Times bestsellers and brought him to international prominence. Known for unlocking the deep mysteries of Scripture and for teachings of prophetic import, Cahn leads Hope of the World Ministries, an international outreach of teaching, evangelism, and compassion projects for the needy. He also leads the Jerusalem Center/Beth Israel, a worship center made up of Jews, Gentiles, and people of all backgrounds, in Wayne, New Jersey. As a much-sought-after speaker, Cahn has been called the prophetic voice of our generation. He has spoken at the United Nations, on Capitol Hill, and to millions around the world.

Enjoyed bringing my friend Mark Ward back on The Shaun Tabatt Show to share about his new book Authorized: The Use and Misuse of the King James Bible (Lexham Press, 2018).

About the Book:  The King James Version has shaped the church, our worship, and our mother tongue for over 400 years. But what should we do with it today?

The KJV beautifully rendered the Scriptures into the language of turn-of-the-seventeenth-century England. Even today the King James is the most widely read Bible in the United States. The rich cadence of its Elizabethan English is recognized even by non-Christians. But English has changed a great deal over the last 400 years―and in subtle ways that very few modern readers will recognize. In Authorized Mark L. Ward, Jr. shows what exclusive readers of the KJV are missing as they read God's word.

In their introduction to the King James Bible, the translators tell us that Christians must "heare CHRIST speaking unto them in their mother tongue." In Authorized Mark Ward builds a case for the KJV translators' view that English Bible translations should be readable by what they called "the very vulgar"―and what we would call "the man on the street."

About the Author:  Mark L. Ward, Jr. received his PhD in New Testament Interpretation from Bob Jones University in 2012; he now serves the church as a Logos Pro at Faithlife, writing weekly articles on Bible study at the Logos Talk Blog. He is the author of multiple high school Bible textbooks, including The Story of the Old Testament and Biblical Worldview: Creation, Fall, Redemption.

We talk about some of the things she learned in the process of writing this book and walk through a few practical tips for authors attending NRB for the 1st time.

About the Book:  We long to see firsthand the power of God as displayed in the Bible. Miracles, prophecy, dreams, healing--most of these tend to be missing from our normal, safe, predictable faith. It's for the night owl, the caffeine-addicted, even the skeptic, beckoning all of us out of our comfort zones with stories of spiritual breakthrough, mind-blowing miracles, and physical healing. I'm honored to have author David Amerland join me from across the pond to discuss his excellent book The Sniper Mind: Eliminate Fear, Deal with Uncertainty, and Make Better Decisions (St. Martin's Press, 2017).

About the Book:  Snipers are exceptional. The trained sniper is a complex fusion of hard skills such as weapons knowledge, situational awareness, knowledge of ballistics and physics, and soft skills such as emotional stability, empathy, and a stoic acceptance of the hardships associated with a particular set of circumstances. There are countless instances where a single sniper, embarking on a secret mission, would have to improvise, operate beyond any hope of support, and yet still manage to carry out the mission and get back home unharmed even though the enemy was actively hunting him.

For the first time ever, The Sniper Mind reveals the practical steps that allow a sniper’s brain to work in this superhuman precise, calculated way. It teaches readers how to understand and apply these steps, whether they are stuck in a cubicle facing mounting piles of work or sitting in a corner office making industry-defining decisions.

Through the explanation of advanced military training techniques and cutting-edge neuroscience, David Amerland's book provides concrete strategies and real-world skills that can help us be better:

-At our jobs
-In our relationships
-In our executive decision making
-In the paths we choose to take through life

By learning how snipers teach their minds to eliminate fears and deal with uncertainty we can also develop the mental toughness we need to achieve the goals that seem to elude us in business as well as in life.

About the Author:  David Amerland helps multi-national clients and start-ups to organize their SEO and Social Media strategies. He is a business journalist, author and international speaker. He blogs about social media and search engine optimization, writes for a number of prominent websites including Forbes, and advises corporations on their social media crisis management techniques. His books on SEO, Social Media and web trends demystify the complexity of the subjects they cover for readers around the world.

Back in September 2014 I had the pleasure of speaking with Rachel Held Evans about her book Faith Unraveled: How a Girl Who Knew All the Answers Learned to Ask Questions (Zondervan, 2014). This episode is pulled from the Author Talks with Shaun Tabatt archives.

About the Book:  How an evolving spiritual journey leads to an unshakeable faith.

Eighty years after the Scopes Monkey Trial made a spectacle of Christian fundamentalism and brought national attention to her hometown, Rachel Held Evans faced a trial of her own when she began to have doubts about her faith.

In Faith Unraveled, Rachel recounts growing up in a culture obsessed with apologetics, struggling as her own faith unraveled one unexpected question at a time.

In order for her faith to survive, Rachel realizes, it must adapt to change and evolve. I'm honored to welcome Kim Chaffin to The Shaun Tabatt Show to share about her encouraging new devotional Simply Blessed: Finding Joy in the Little Things (Broadstreet Publishing, 2018).

About the Book:  Why study the Bible? Who are the patriarchs? Am I really saved? Is there a special way to pray? New believers have many questions. But even the most experienced believers can overcomplicate life and fill the day with more busyness than meaning. Often the little things of life show us the true character of God. In Him we can find joy and blessing if we are willing to look.

Simply Blessed contains thirty-one heartfelt devotional stories for the woman seeking to know God for who He is: a loving God who longs to have a relationship with her. Kim focuses on the foundation of a woman s faith, tackling issues she faces on a daily basis and providing joyful and practical lessons for a woman s heart.

Discover a God of relationship not religion. He is never too busy. In the humorous, frustrating, and mundane parts of life, God is pouring out His love on you.

About the Author: God is in the everyday moments that many people overlook. This is where Kim Chaffin finds lessons from God, practical lessons that find their way from her heart to her keyboard. Kim created Heartfelt Ramblings of a Midlife Domestic Goddess® to help people see that God doesn't ask us to be religious, but he wants to have a relationship with you and me. He is comfortable, like a pair of fuzzy socks or pajamas that feel so good after a long day.

Priest Lake, Idaho, is Kim's favorite place to write. She cherishes summer days spent at the lake. Beyond the pages of Simply Blessed, Kim is a contributor for the Whatever Girls Ministry (thewhatevergirls.com) and LivingBetter50 magazine (livingbetter50.com).

God has not only given Kim a passion to write but also the desire to speak. She finds joy in sharing the Lord at women's events, weekend retreats, and sermons at church.

Kim is a wife of twenty-eight years and a mother of two. She is also a graduate of Eastern Washington University, where she earned a degree in sociology with an emphasis in crime corrections. Kim believes we must never stop growing and learning, which is why she is taking online classes through Portland Bible College.

Back in December 2014 I had the pleasure of speaking with Jen Wilkin about her book Women of the Word: How to Study the Bible with Both Our Hearts and Our Minds (Crossway, 2014). This episode is pulled from the Author Talks with Shaun Tabatt archives.

About the Book:  We all know it’s important to study God’s Word.

But sometimes it’s hard to know where to start. What’s more, a lack of time, emotionally driven approaches, and past frustrations can erode our resolve to keep growing in our knowledge of Scripture. How can we, as Christian women, keep our focus and sustain our passion when reading the Bible?

Offering a clear and concise plan to help women go deeper in their study of Scripture, this book will equip you to engage God’s Word in a way that trains your mind and transforms your heart.

About the Author:  Jen Wilkin is a speaker, writer, and teacher of women’s Bible studies. During her fifteen years of teaching, she has organized and led studies for women in home, church, and parachurch contexts. Jen and her family are members of the Village Church in Flower Mound, Texas. She is the author of Women of the Word: How to Study the Bible with Both Our Hearts and Our Minds.

I'm excited to welcome Leif Hetland back to The Shaun Tabatt Show to share about his latest book Called To Reign: Living and Loving from a Place of Rest.

About the Book:  Like most Christians, you long to fulfill your calling. You seek the inheritance God has promised you. And you work hard to serve Him well and enter into His rest. But what if your destiny is already within reach? What if you already have access to all the things He has promised? What if, instead of working for rest, you can actually work from rest?

The world, including most of the church, is working hard in order to find peace and rest. That’s why we see a constant cycle of restlessness around us. But we were designed to work from a place of rest, fully secure in our identity as children of God. This resting place is found in intimacy with the Father, where His family members experience complete acceptance and extravagant love.

The resting place is there, available from God anywhere, anytime

We are sons and daughters of a loving Father, not orphans trying to figure out who we are. We are called to reveal the true nature of God, and we cannot do that with an orphan mindset. When sons and daughters arise in the church, the world will begin to see the true nature of the Father and His family―a family that sees promises, not problems, and that reigns with Him!

Using his well-known illustration of the three chairs, Leif Hetland explores the four pillars of this resting place, addressing four crucial questions:

  • Identity: Who are you?
  • Intimacy: Where are you?
  • Inheritance: What do you have?
  • Destiny: What are you called to do?

The key to fulfilling your destiny is realizing the answers to each of these questions―in the order God designed for us.

This book is will help you experience everything God wants for you by finding a resting place for yourself and becoming a resting place for Him. It is about an entirely different way to see and live, a way that refreshes, restores, and brings life. It is an invitation into the fullness and abundance that empowers you to do what you were called to do―to reign with Him!

About the Author:  Leif Hetland is founder and president of Global Mission Awareness. He ministers globally bringing an impartation of God’s love, healing, and apostolic authority through a paradigm of kingdom family. A forerunner in modern-day missions, Leif has brought the gospel into the most spiritually dark areas of the world. Over one million souls have been saved through his ministry. He has written numerous books, including his best-sellers Giant SlayersSeeing Through Heaven’s Eyes and Healing the Orphan Spirit.

Back in 2013 I had the pleasure of sitting down with Sue Badeau at ICRS 2013 and talking about her book Are We There Yet?: Adopting and Raising 22 Kids!.

In the interview we discuss Sue and Hector’s amazing journey of parenthood and the many blessings and challenges that come with grafting foster children and special needs children into your family. We also discuss some of the ways the church can support and encourage the families in their congregation who have a calling to foster care and adoption.

This episode is pulled from the Author Talks with Shaun Tabatt archives.

I'm long overdue to have my friend John Crotts back on the podcast. This time around we discuss his encouraging new book 'Graciousness: Tempering Truth with Love' (Reformation Heritage Books, 2018).

About the Book:  Sometimes we have important things to say to other Christians, but if we deliver our message ungraciously, they won’t benefit from it. Author John Crotts points out that God cares about how we say what we say: “It is not enough always to say the truth; you must also say the truth in love.” In Graciousness, the author addresses Christians who are zealous for God’s truth yet struggle to communicate it graciously— in a loving way. Filled with practical instruction and wise insights, this book includes a biblical description of graciousness, with a look at positive examples and commands from the Bible and methods for cultivating graciousness in various areas of the Christian life. Be equipped to speak the truth in love!

About the Author:  John Crotts is the pastor of Faith Bible Church in Sharpsburg, Georgia. The Lord has blessed John and his wife, Lynn, with three daughters and a son: Charissa, Danielle, Chloe, and Josiah.

I'm honored to have John Ramirez join me today on The Shaun Tabatt Show to talk about his new book Armed and Dangerous: The Ultimate Battle Plan for Targeting and Defeating the Enemy (Chosen Books, 2017).

About the Book:  It's time to push back the gates of hell!

The devil has come to steal, kill and destroy. Hell has unleashed fury against every believer. Yet many Christians live in denial, letting the enemy steal their blessings, destroy their relationship with Jesus and kill their purpose and identity. But no more!

With passion and insight gained from years on the frontlines of spiritual warfare, John Ramirez equips you with the biblical weapons and practical strategies you need to battle the enemy successfully, including how to

  • discern and shut down the enemy's tactics and next moves
  • fight with your God-given authority
  • break free from destructive patterns and replace them with godly ones
  • fortify your mind and heart against attacks
  • take back what the devil has stolen
  • grow in wisdom and maturity in Christ
  • and more!

Here is everything you need to fight for your purpose, your destiny, your family and your loved ones--and even for unbelievers so they, too, will have the opportunity to make it to the cross.

About the Author:  In every generation God has always displayed his awesome deliverance and transforming power. Evangelist John Ramirez is another example of God’s mighty power to set the captives free. In his testimony, Author and Speaker, John Ramirez tells his true life story of how he was trained to be a satanic cult (Santeria and Spiritualist) high ranking priest in New York City—casting powerful witchcraft spells and controlling entire regions. Raised in an impoverished ghetto neighborhood, he grew up despising his father for his careless disregard of his family. John learned to survive the cold, harsh streets of the South Bronx. Looking for love and validation, he eventually found it in a new “family” of witches and warlocks who groomed him to become a high priest in their occult religion. His plunge into the dark side reached a boiling point on the night he sold his soul to the devil in a diabolical, blood-soaked ritual. With renewed fervor—and the mark of the beast now cut into his right arm—he actively recruited souls into this “unholy kingdom,” haunting the bars and clubs of NYC by night to find his next victims. John’s life continued on this dark path until God intervened through a miraculous, larger-than-life dream, revealing Himself for who He really is and literally snatching John back from the grips of hell.

In a style all his own, John unfolds God’s enormous power through his powerful testimony and teaches Christians as well as those trapped in the occult how to combat the enemy and be set free. His remarkable story is told in the book Out of the Devil’s Cauldron: A Journey from Darkness to Light. This intriguing story walks you through the dark alleys of the Santeria cult while exposing hidden secrets of darkness.

Many have come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ by John’s real and true to life testimony. He is a sought-out speaker by many who want to hear of his involvement in the highest levels of the occult and how he finally came out.

People from all ethnic backgrounds dabble in the occult and fall victims to this satanic underworld and never see the way out. John Ramirez is one in a million who made it out.

Honored to welcome my new friend Bob Hasson to the show to talk about his and Danny Silk's brand new book The Business of Honor: Restoring the Heart of Business.

About the Book:  Honor is the art of stewarding relationships well.

Business is all about relationships, and every day at work presents us with a choice: Will we fight for fear-free connections with our team members, employees, vendors, and customers for the sake of our mutual success? This is the choice between honor and dishonor, and it flows from our hearts and our core beliefs about people.

In The Business of Honor, Bob Hasson and Danny Silk lay out a pathway for living with a heart of honor in business, from receiving your identity to investing in healthy relationships and taking the lead in building honoring culture in your company or organization.

Absolutely thrilled to bring my buddy Chad Johnson on the podcast today! We're talking about his new book 1,000 Risks, which chronicles his crazy journey of accepting the challenge to take one thousand risks to impact people for Jesus.

About the Book:  Could God change the world through seemingly average, ordinary people like you and me?

One Thousand Risks is proof that Jesus can set you up to discover adventure in abundance.

With an all-out-fight against comfort, fear, and living half-heartedly present, One Thousand Risks will help you know how to experience a super-powered life of spiritual significance.

Your problem is fear--mostly the fear of man, fear of failure, and fear of rejection.

In response to a dare, I began deliberately and consistently fighting fear--one tiny risk at a time, right where I was--which translated into this awkward, awesome life with Jesus.

Have you ever sensed that you were created for something grand? Something way bigger than you could pull off on your own?

You were designed to carry more power than any instrument on the planet.

What if you left the unremarkable old for life in the messy, extravagant new?

Take a risk; your Father is king of the universe.

To discover spiritual significance in the messy, extravagant new, visit chadisliving.com or onethousandrisks.com.

About the Author:  An icon of independent music amongst those in the know--Chad Johnson was the director of A&R at what was one of the biggest independent record labels in the world. From DIY darlings to punk rock royalty, Chad seemed to fit right in at Tooth & Nail Records. After all, he'd paid his dues with his own little (failed) label, and every hardworking band knew his story.

Chad's true calling came at the peak of music industry success--an unexpected, undeserved twelve-year career generously affixing his name to an album or two. With his wife's nervous blessing, he abruptly left the conventional music world, one part impassioned and three parts foolish.

Cashing out his 401(k), gold plaques and the record collection, Chad began living an adventure that has led him, reluctantly, to every continent on the planet with Come&Live!.
